The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, together with the Cotuit Center for the Arts, announced the sixth year of their collaborative winter exhibit from January 9 - February 11, 2012. This year's exhibit was titled Wild Things, featuring artists' favorite wild things.
Keeping younger patrons in mind, art work was displayed at a lower height throughout the exhibit - right at children’s eye level. A series of child-friendly events were scheduled over the course of the month. School groups were welcomed to the exhibit for free for the duration of the show, and were given docent-led tours and art instruction customized to the age level of the children.
The exhibit was free and open to the public. Gallery hours were extended to accommodate the high demand for the show, based on bookings for school visits and the popularity of previously presented exhibits, So Big!, First Things First, ROYGBIV, Self Portrait Cape Cod and When We Were Younger.
