Where can I purchase tickets?
Tickets are available online, via phone at 508-362-0066, or at the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod office located at 396 Main Street, Suite 10 in Hyannis. Our office is on the second floor above Puritan Clothing.
Can I purchase tickets the day of the show?
Yes! The box office will be located at the Main Street gate.
Are kids free?
Children 8 years and under are free.
Are tickets refundable?
No. All ticket sales are final, and tickets are nonrefundable. All Proceeds from the concert benefit the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, a nonprofit organization that promotes, supports, and celebrates arts and culture on Cape Cod.
Are there any discounts offered?
We are proud to participate in the EBT Card to Culture program, a partnership between the Mass Cultural Council and the Department of Transitional Assistance, by giving four free tickets upon presentation of an EBT card. Tickets must be redeemed in person and EBT card must be shown. Simply reference the “arts are for everyone” program. What is the difference between Lawn and Festival tickets?
Lawn tickets attract a mix of families, music lovers, residents, and visitors who set up blankets and chairs to enjoy a casual and relaxing picnic style concert. Festival seats have wonderful views of the stage and the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra. Chairs are provided, but seats are not numbered or assigned. Festival seats are located immediately behind the VIP tables.
Is re-entry allowed?
Yes. If your wristband is on, you may enter and leave the venue as you wish.
Venue and Concessions
Can I bring in my own alcohol?
No. Due to changes in the Town of Barnstable’s event permitting policy, ticket holders are no longer allowed to bring outside alcohol into this event. All items entering the concert grounds are subject to search. Ticket holders who attempt to bring alcohol through the gate may either bring it back to their vehicle and rejoin the line or surrender it to security by immediately pouring it into a trash container.
Will alcohol be available for purchase?
Yes. Wine, local beer, and hard seltzer will all be available for sale to guests 21 and older. All patrons must show a photo ID to purchase alcohol. No exceptions. This year’s sponsors include Josh Cellars Wine, Nauti Hard Seltzer, and beer from Hog Island.
Can I bring food?
Yes, outside food is allowed. All coolers and other items entering the concert grounds are subject to search. Food trucks will be on site
Is this a cash only event? What kinds of credit/debit cards are accepted?
Some vendors are cash only. Tickets to the event may be purchased at the gate via card, cash, or check.
Is the event accessible to people with disabilities?
Yes. After 4:00 pm, the preshow stage is reserved seating for people with disabilities. The festival section also has designated seating directly to the right of the main walkway when facing the stage in section F (subject to change). Ushers will be available to point these areas out.
Are chairs provided? Is there a way to “save seats”?
Chairs are provided for festival and VIP ticket holders. Lawn ticket holders may bring blankets and folding chairs. The only way to “save” your seat is to be in it. We do not advise leaving folding chairs, blankets, or belongings unattended. General admission festival seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Are there any restricted items?
Yes, there are restricted items such as weapons, animals except for service dogs, alcohol, drones, and glass.
This is a no smoking venue.
Water and other beverages must be in sealed bottles. We promote the use of reusable bottles, but they must be empty. No glass allowed.
Where are restrooms located?
Restrooms can be found to the right of the school administration building.
What if it rains?
The event will take place rain or shine. Tickets are nonrefundable, even in the event of inclement weather. Ticket holders are welcome to bring umbrellas and rain gear, with the exception of anything that can be staked into the ground.
Are pets allowed?
No pets are allowed with the exception of service animals.
Where do I park?
There are several public and paid parking lots available in the area. See map. Anyone with a government-issued disability placard may park in the lot shown on the map located at 25 Ocean Street. This lot is first-come, first-served.
Where is the nearest train or bus stop?
The Hyannis Transportation Center is just a ten-minute walk from the venue.
What is the best time to arrive?
Gates open at 1:00 pm with preshow entertainment from 2:00-4:00 pm. The Boston Pops perform from 5:00-7:00 pm. We recommend enjoying as much of the afternoon as your day allows. Spots on the lawn can fill up quickly, so plan accordingly.
How long is the concert?
The Pops perform from 5:00-7:00 pm. Gates open at 1:00 pm with preshow entertainment from 2:00-4:00 pm.
Is anyone else playing besides the Pops?
Yes. The pre show from 2:00-4:00 pm will feature Funktapuss and Master of Ceremonies DJ Ian Sinnetti. The Pops performance also features Maestro Keith Lockhart, as well as Guest Conductor and Performer, Eric Bergen.
Where do I find the lyrics for the singalong?
Lyrics for the singalong are printed in the Barnstable Patriot. Copies will be available at the gate.
