Free public event on May 30th features podcast panelists, creative networking

May 14, 2019 (Hyannis, MA) – The Creative Exchange Podcast highlights outstanding artists in every medium – including writers, performing artists, and visual artists – sharing ideas and information about how they practice art on Cape Cod.

The Creative Exchange Podcast Live will feature a panel discussion with several of this season’s podcast guests, recorded in front of a live audience for later broadcast. The event will be held at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod, 307 Old Main Street, South Yarmouth, on Thursday, May 30th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. The public is invited. The event is free, with a $10 suggested donation. RSVP at artsfoundation.org/creative-exchange.

Guest panelists include architect Mary-Ann Agresti of Yarmouth Port, owner of The Design Initiative, Inc.; James Barnes of Harwich, storyteller and director of social enterprise at Cape Abilities; Susan Blood of Orleans, author and the director of marketing at the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater; Christine McCarthy of Provincetown, executive director of the Provincetown Art Association and Museum; Sara Moran of Eastham, owner of Cape Cod Art Therapy; and Chalkboard Studios’ founders and visual artists Jackie Reeves of Sandwich and Richard Neal of Centerville.

The Creative Exchange Podcast Live will also feature a relaxed atmosphere for creative networking, lively chat, and the exchange of ideas and information about living a creative life on Cape Cod. Complimentary light appetizers and beverages will be served.

Susan Blood said, “I’m so excited to be in a room with the other panelists I’ve been listening to on the Creative Exchange Podcast, and the rest of this vast creative community on the Cape. We are so lucky here where we’re surrounded by accomplished, talented, gifted people who are up to remarkable things.”

“The Creative Exchange Podcast is an opportunity to exchange ideas about how artists work and to delve into the backstory of how and why art is created. The Live event will open the conversation to the audience in real time – spontaneous creative fun!” said Mary-Ann Agresti.
