William Raveis Real Estate Signs on as 2021 Title Sponsor of the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod

March 2, 2021 (Hyannis, MA) – At a time when the region’s creative sector has been devastated by the pandemic, William Raveis Real Estate is throwing its support behind the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod’s (AFCC) Stand with the Arts campaign.

The year-long fundraising and awareness effort of the AFCC aims to highlight the critical nature that arts and culture play to the Cape’s economy while providing the essential resources that artists and cultural nonprofits need to make it through the pandemic.

William Raveis Real Estate has committed to serving as the AFCC’s Title Sponsor for 2021. “William Raveis is standing with the arts at a moment when the Cape’s creative community desperately needs all the help it can get. We’re grateful for William Raveis, its management, and its sales associates for taking the lead in providing a necessary lifeline for arts and culture on Cape Cod,” said AFCC Executive Director Julie Wake “This funding will help us better promote, support, and celebrate the arts during this challenging time.”

Arts and culture have a special place in company Chairman and CEO William Raveis’ heart. “All my kids are artists and my wife Candace is an artist,” he said. “My daughter Laurie is a singer-songwriter. My son Ryan is a terrific guitar player and my son Chris is as well.”

Beyond that personal connection, Raveis said, the arts are more than just nice, they are necessary.  “The arts offer us beautiful experiences and they bring us inspiration,” he said, “which is why they are so important to support.”

Wendy Beaulieu, Senior Vice President of Strategic Growth and Regional Manager for William Raveis Real Estate on Cape Cod and Nantucket, said the firm’s ties to the creative economy are strong. “The arts really are at the heart of the Cape Cod lifestyle,” she said. “Many of our agents aren’t only patrons of exhibits and performances on the Cape, but they’re in them too. We have agents who perform in theater, from Provincetown to the Mid-Cape, and we have some who are involved in visual art as well. It’s a lifestyle we’re not only sharing within our company, but with our clients.”

The company’s strong ties to the arts aligns perfectly with its commitment to philanthropy. “It’s meaningful to give back,” Raveis said. “Everyone should be giving back in one form or another. We’re fortunate to have the financial resources to do so.”

That corporate culture starts at the top and extends to William Raveis Real Estate’s 137 offices in nine states and the more than 4,200 agents. Now in its 47th year, the family-owned real estate company has eight offices on Cape Cod and one on Nantucket.
