July 13, 2017, HYANNIS—The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod (AFCC) announces the appointment of Becky Dowd to its board of directors.
Dowd is vice president and financial consultant at Rockland Trust Bank. Through her work with its Investment Management Group, she offers advisory, investment, and insurance services throughout Cape Cod. Previously, Dowd was the director of business development at the Bank of Cape Cod. She is also active in the Marshfield Boys & Girls Club and the Marshfield Food Pantry.
“I am excited to be part of this dynamic and growing organization. I’m a strong believer that art and culture improve our lives and make us all better people,” said Dowd.
AFCC Board of Directors Chair Rana Murphy expressed enthusiasm about Dowd’s appointment. “Becky’s experience on a variety of boards, and her engagement in the arts, will be an asset to our overall growth.” she said. “I’m thrilled to have her on the board.”
