Please join us us for our November Creative Exchange Meetup. Meetups provide a relaxed and inclusive networking opportunity for Cape creatives. It’s also a great way for individuals in other sectors on Cape Cod to connect with artists to support their work.
Our November artist spotlight is Kim Moberg!
Kim is an award-winning singer, songwriter, and musician who will be discussing her evolution as an artist and her latest release, “The Seven Fires Prophecy: Suite for Humanity,” an 8-song original suite that ties the ancient Anishinaabe prophecy to our current social environment. The project blossomed from Kim’s desire to share what she learned about Indigenous teachings and the important and relevant life lessons they offer. It was funded, in part, through a grant from the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod (AFCC).
Kim recently completed the AFCC’s Capacity Building Grant Program which provides artists on Cape Cod and the Islands with mentorship to help in the creation of a business plan; access to in-person and virtual workshops aimed at strengthening their practice; and a $2,000 grant.
