(Centerville, MA, December 7, 2015) The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod welcomes Wendy O’Keefe as the newest member of its staff in the role of Director of Development.
Wendy was formerly employed as Development Officer at the Mass Audubon Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary in Wellfleet, Massachusetts. She also worked for many years as a Senior Instructor with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) throughout North America and upon her return to Cape Cod was the Co-op/Internship Coordinator at Cape Cod Community College.
In her role as Director of Development, Wendy will be responsible for fundraising activities as well as expanding and diversifying the Foundation’s funder base enabling the AFCC to assist even more local artists and arts organizations through grants and scholarships.
Executive Director Julie Wake says, “We are so lucky to have the opportunity to work with Wendy. She brings an enormous amount of knowledge and experience as a development professional and as a leader and ambassador for mission driven work. Her positive energy and collaborative spirit will add so much value to the Arts Foundation.”
The mission of the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod is to support, promote, celebrate and strengthen the arts and cultural community throughout the year, ensuring the vibrancy of Cape Cod’s cultural community.
